After graduating from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in International Management, Johan started his career in talent acquisition & organization development at a Japanese stock listed company leading the automation market.

From 2012, he spent over 5 years at a major multinational recruitment firm where he first started in the newly established industrial practice, and later launched and built an automotive team heavily focused on recruitment in engineering & sales. Then, he had founded and owned a foodtech start-up for 4 years where he developed a platform business from scratch to serve hundreds of corporate users.

He joined Octavia Executive Search in 2021 to build a strong recruitment practice, focusing and advancing manufacturing & IT technology industries.

Johan has not only extensive recruitment know-hows in manufacturing & IT fields, but also actual working experience within the industries that he specializes in. In other words, his strength is his strong knowledge of the products and engineering practices used within the companies he represents.
