Yoshi has approximately 30 years of practical and managerial experience in a wide range of areas, including clinical development, business development, international marketing, and medical affairs, at global pharmaceutical companies such as Takeda Pharmaceutical. He has a unique background that allows him to understand the pharmaceutical industry’s value chain from end-to-end, gaining a three-dimensional understanding of processes from the on-site execution level to executive decision-making.
His career as a recruiter began with the launch of Takeda Pharmaceutical’s US subsidiary (Takeda America). He joined the organization from scratch as one of five selected members, and was centrally involved in the process of growing it to over 1,000 employees in just two years. This formative experience of “organizations create businesses” forms the foundation of his current thinking as a consultant.
He then served as Executive Officer in Charge of Medical Affairs at Boehringer Ingelheim Japan, where he managed an organization of 100 employees and made company-wide management decisions. With the management and business experience he gained in the pharmaceutical industry as a backdrop, he moved into the recruitment industry and has consistently achieved great results.
With a deep understanding of industry structure, job requirements, and management mindset, he connects clients’ essential challenges with the value of candidates, contributing to the creation of executive talent that will support the sustainable growth of companies.
